Paper Source Paper Flower Kits

Paper Source has these awesome flower kits. I have no idea what my colors will be, but I am thinking to go with a green... maybe green and pearl (like the color pearl), but these may possibly come in handy... for something... ;)

Pearl Clusters

I absolutely love Paper Source! So I browsed there website today and found these beautiful little pearl clusters. I'm not sure what I could use them on, but I bet I could use them on something! So just to remember them...

I found two uses for these! One: They can act as a purse handle on the bridesmaids flower boquets. And two: They can hang from little trees or whatever kind of flower pieces we have set up. ;)

Wine Cork Placecard Holders

I actually have had this idea for quite a while (which I got from browing random peoples wedding pictures) and it is quite fitting considering I plan on getting married at a local winery and I am definetly a wine lover!

I have been saving every wine cork from every bottle of wine I've drank for months and also picked quite a lot up when I went to Woodinville Wine Country Passport Weekend this past April. My bestie has also been saving all her wine corks for me. She had a special red one that came from a bottle of 'Vampire' wine. This super fun cork will be her placecard holder as my maid of honor at the head table :)

It would also be fun to name the tables after types of wine. I got that idea from this picture:

Here are the instructions for making these useful decorations.

You will need wine corks and a razor blade or X-acto knife.

1. Using the razor blade or craft knife, slice off one side of the cork lengthwise, so it can lay flat on the table. Make sure to use a fresh (sharp) blade, otherwise the cork may crumble.
2. Then, with the cork set flat on the table, make a slice down the middle lengthwise, but not all the way through.
3. Cut the cardstock to a rectangular shape (or a fun shape) a bit larger than the width of the cork.
4. Scribe your guests names using a calligraphy pen.
5. If you like, you can hot glue a magnet strip to the bottom of the cork placecard holder. If your table happens to be metal, this will keep it in place and weighted down. If not, you can slip an adhesive magnet under your table cloth to make sure it stays in place.

Betta Centerpieces

Boyfriend and I both like the idea of putting Betta fish (we have 2 at our house) in pretty bowls as centerpieces on the reception tables. Kinda like this...
How fun!

SoleMates

Boredom at work has struck me again so what do I do?! Look at wedding photographer blogs of course! This had lead me to discover SoleMates. They are little covers that go over your bridesmaids heels so that there heels won't dig into grass, cobblestones, grates, etc. GENIUS!
www.solesmates.com is the website I can buy them from for $9.95 each or I can get them at Moms, Maids & More in Bellevue.

In The Near Future

In the near future my boyfriend will be making me the happiest girl ever by asking me to marry him.

I have an obsession with looking at wedding photographer blogs and seeing pictures of all these beautiful weddings from all over. While looking at these pictures I am constantly getting ideas and figured a blog would be a good way to keep track of them. So that's what I'll be doing! Pre-planning for a wedding that will more than likely happen in the near future.

I'm not crazy. I promise. ;)
