Vintage Garden Theme

I haven't posted in a while, but lately I've had WEDDING on the brain so I have had millions of ideas running through my head. I have decided I would like to do a vintage garden theme and it should fall in late spring, early summer. This past summer I drove past a wildflower farm close to where I live and was thinking I could get wildflowers from there and display them as centerpieces in pretty vintage, colorful jars. The tables could be covered in vintage lace tablecloths (I will have fun scouring antique shops for those) . Here are a few items I'm liking so I don't forget where to find them later (when my day actually comes)

Wedding Sprinkles - Could be given as favors for guests or put into the bridal party gift bags.

Scatter Garden Kits - Also a fun favor idea. Would need to break apart bags and put into different containers to save $$.

The Wishing Wall

Thinking of a new fun way to display well wishes from wedding guests is what everyone aspires to and feels the need to be unique. I fall in that category as well so when I stumbled upon this awesome idea for a "guest book" from uncommongoods.com I knew it would be mine for my wedding :)

Patterned Paper Boxes

A couple months ago I stumbled upon a blog written by one of my long lost friends from Junior High. She works in the wonderful world of scrapbooking and is incredibly talented. Her latest blog entry was all about these super fun patterned paper boxes and other paper DIY crafts. So... got me to thinking about cheap DIY ways to decorate parts of my wedding. How I'll incorporate them is unknown as of now, but there is still tons of time to figure that out :)

I have printed out directions for the paper globes. And so I know where to find pictures of all the rest, Paige blogged them on Thursday July 9th.

And so I don't forget... Heather Bailey is crazy talented and I want to remember her websites www.heatherbailey.typepad.com and www.heatherbaileystore.com

Boquet Wraps

While looking at pictures on the latest blog post from my most favorite Engagement/Wedding photographer, Amelia Lyon, there was a picture of the boquet carried by the bride and it was just beautiful the way it was wrapped. I want a wrap around my boquet now! And I just thought about those pearl clusters down below... the bridesmaids boquets can be hanging from there wrists with the peral clusters, kinda like a purse.

Minus the diamond looking thing wrapped around the middle. I just want some pretty green silk around mine or something.
